Vision

The Mechanical Engineering Department endeavors to be recognized as a leader of its discipline through teaching and to groom motivated, Self-esteemed, entrepreneurial and creative engineers.

To disseminate knowledge and technologies through teaching, research and its applications in mechanical and allied disciplines.

The mechanical engineering department offers an undergraduate program of Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical Engineering since 1998 with a present intake of 60 seats and Post Graduation course with specialization in Machine Design with an intake of 18.

The departmental subjects are categorized into three major areas like Thermal Engineering,Design & Dynamics and Production and Manufacturing Engineering

Departmental laboratories including workshop are well-equipped with all the necessary instruments and experimental set-ups or test rigs to fulfill the requirement of experimental work at undergraduate level.
